A craving never satisfied
because once desires are given
the hunger just grows stronger,
out of control,
a small spark turned into a fire,

we should have stopped
before the match had been struck
when our eyes met
it should have been 'no'
instead of 'yes'

before our lips met
we should have turned away--
before our hands touched
we should have said goodbye...

because now we started the world turning
in the opposite direction
because now we are united
as we pull together...
