Spellbound yet twisted amongst the stars;
Branches curved away,I sink to glance up
Upon a knoll, under the tree of dreams,
Yet the wind whispers: never what it seems.
Lost to the night unspoken drifts,
The further apart to another place.
Don't let go, I hear them say
Yet I walk the distance another way.
Though the stars twinkle, they never speak
Shaded away, yet still seeking their gaze,
Who knows what dangers lurk? I hide away,
In the shadows, I currently remain.
Don't find me, but secretly I hope,
A helping hand will be found.
And so I search even though I say no
Yet deep down not wanting to be alone.
A full moon's rising in the horizon
A dock not so far away, stands clear.
But when the ship pulls in, the captain's called
I fear it is my name I'll hear.
Captivated, yet broken down amongst the stars
Tangled branches, holding on to dreams--
A full moon is rising, it's coming; I hold my breath
When will my heart finally rest?

Life can't get much better than this. Appreciate what you have while you have it.

Some people say they haven't yet found themselves. But the self is not something one finds; it is something one creates.

Poetry is a journey of emotions..For they are sailed in the ocean of words..
your luggage ready and waiting
And they pronounce the name
of the one you want to go with,
Do you hop aboard
or do you wait for the next train?
The ones waiting with you
will still be there
Waving goodbye, when you leave,
or to greet you when you return.
In love, there is no law.
"Upon a knoll, under the tree of dreams,
Yet the wind whispers: never what it seems."
It's so magical. (: I love this one!
(and of course, I'd favorite it if I could)

The illusion is that you are simply reading this poem.
The reality is that this is more than a poem. -Bukowski
