To Love--
Burning grievance of a dying heart; ALONE.
Sacred aching of possession and need; declaration of OWN.
Forbidden rules of an ancient game of fight and pride
To win an honor and call another soul by the name of MINE.
To Love--
Maneuvers through the deceit of shadow and time;
Standstill for the sake of aging and the war raged against MIND.
Distance is not a boundary but you're running is a CRIME;
Lay down a heavy head and be silenced by my DREAMS.
To Love--
Speak not in the riddles of a long ago era of past and FUTURE;
Do we live in the there or the then? But what about the NOW?
Your heart. My heart. Beating in relation to one another. But HOW?
If you cannot speak the answer, then don't speak at all.
To Love--
Show me the desirable dance of greed and DISASTER.
I hear it is beautiful when done by the spotlight of the STARS;
When the moon lectures of forbidden arts and we're speeding,
Through the night like stealth and luxurious CARS.
To Love--
Break my heart a thousand times over like beads of SAND;
Push me down like the monster inside I truly am.
May your lips linger upon mine for just a little LONGER.
And sit and watch the dying of the light inside my HAND.
To Love--
The world no longer matters and the gloves come OFF;
Eyes stand wide and the truth comes OUT;
Everything found is now lost and those lost are now FOUND
In your arms, I must remain and be eternally SPELLBOUND.

The illusion is that you are simply reading this poem.
The reality is that this is more than a poem. -Bukowski
I think that's what the ones we love the most do; they drive us mad.
I love this poem.

Brilliant, Cassy, absolutely brilliant. Such raw emotion... the caps are a nice touch, though I agree sometimes they disrupt the flow of it. I think it'd either be better italicized or if it all ended in caps--the couple sentences that didn't were the flow-disrupters for me.
Other than that small thing, it's absolute genius. <3

Poetry is a journey of emotions..For they are sailed in the ocean of words..
I think everyone can.
It's what makes your writing wonderful,
it's that its always a consistent universal theme.
As always, I loved it and will always read what you have to write.
